Why a handmade mosaic chandelier

A mosaic chandelier multiplies what makes a single lamp special. Every 15 cm globe is cut and set by hand in Türkiye from natural glass, mirror tile and mosaic beads, and most of our chandeliers combine several different designs. Lit together, the globes throw overlapping patterns of colour across the walls and ceiling, so the room itself becomes part of the piece.

Because each globe is made by hand, no two chandeliers are the same, even when they share a design. The glass is natural, never dyed, painted or plastic, which gives the light its soft, rich colour. The frame is hand-aged antique brass, and every piece is CE certified.

Spiral or cluster: how to choose

Both styles use the same 15 cm globes. The difference is the shape.

  • Spiral: the globes cascade from the frame at different heights. Spirals are made with 4, 5, 7 or 10 globes; the overall height runs from 110 cm with 4 or 5 globes to 145 cm with 10. Browse the spiral chandeliers.
  • Cluster: the globes gather together on one frame for a fuller, rounder shape, and some 13-globe pieces arrange them in tiers. Clusters are made with 5, 7 or 13 globes. The 7-globe piece is the shortest at 95 cm overall, and the 13-globe reaches 145 cm. See the cluster chandeliers.

Measure before you fall in love: the overall height is the figure to check against your ceiling. For colour, most chandeliers mix several shades, while a few keep to one palette, such as white or blue. Sold-out sizes stay listed, and each product page lets you leave your email to hear when the piece is back.

Rooms that suit a chandelier

Over a dining table is the classic spot: the globes hang where everyone can see them, and the pattern spreads across the walls through dinner. An entrance hall or a stairwell suits a spiral, which you see from below and from the side as you climb. A cluster gives a living room or sun room a single, generous centre. If your ceiling is low, a Turkish floor lamp brings the same multi-globe glow at standing height instead. In a restaurant, café or hotel lobby, one chandelier can set the mood of the whole room.

Adding a lamp? Choose any single-globe lamp with a chandelier and £10 comes off the lamp. Many of our table lamps share their glass designs with the chandelier globes, so the two can match.

Bulbs, safety and care

Each globe takes an E14 bulb, and every bulb is included: one LED bulb per globe, so a 7-globe chandelier comes with seven. With every globe lit, LED keeps the heat low, which helps protect the hand-set glass.

Every chandelier is CE certified and hardwired, so a qualified electrician fixes it to a ceiling light point. When it needs a clean, switch off the power and dust each globe and the brass frame with a soft, dry cloth, holding the globe steady. For help choosing a size, chat with us; we are available 24/7.

Questions about kronleuchter

Answers from the people who make and ship every lamp.

Do chandeliers come with their bulbs?

Yes, all of them: one E14 LED bulb per globe, so 4, 5, 7 or 10 for a spiral chandelier and 5, 7 or 13 for a cluster. The bulbs are warm-coloured; a different bulb may affect the brightness and the pattern.

Does a chandelier need an electrician?

Yes. A chandelier has no plug: it is hardwired to a ceiling light point and should be fitted by a qualified electrician. If you have a question about your ceiling, chat with us before you order; we are available 24/7.

How do I know which size fits my room?

Check the overall height against your ceiling: 95 cm for the 7-globe cluster, 110 cm for the 4-globe and 5-globe spirals and the 5-globe cluster, 140 cm for the 7-globe spiral, and 145 cm for the 10-globe spiral and the 13-globe cluster. Frames range from 20 to 40 cm across.

Which chandelier suits a dining table?

A 5-globe or 7-globe piece suits most dining tables, whether you prefer the cascade of a spiral or the fuller shape of a cluster. The 13-globe cluster is made for a large room with plenty of height.

Can I match a chandelier with a table lamp?

Yes. Many of our table, pendant and wall lamps use the same glass designs as the globes on our chandeliers. When you buy a single-globe lamp with a chandelier, you save £10 on the lamp.
