Why choose a multicoloured mosaic lamp

Multicoloured glass is our largest colour family, and the liveliest. Each globe mixes many shades of hand-cut glass with beads and mirror tile, so when the lamp is lit it throws reflections in many colours across the walls at once. One multicoloured mosaic lamp can fill a room with colour in a way a plain shade never could.

That colour comes from the glass itself, in jewel tones such as ruby, sapphire, emerald and amber. Every globe holds 300+ hand-cut glass pieces and beads, each set by hand in Türkiye, then grouted and polished, so no two multicoloured globes ever share the same arrangement.

How to choose a multicoloured lamp

You will find multicoloured glass in all seven of our styles.

  • By style: for a single lamp, choose from the mosaic table lamps, pendants and wall sconces; table lamps suit a bedside or desk, while pendants and sconces free up surfaces. For a statement, most of our mosaic chandeliers and Turkish floor lamps are multicoloured, and many combine several designs, so every globe differs.
  • By size: single-globe lamps come with 10, 12.5 or 15 cm globes. A larger globe carries more glass, so it shows more of the pattern and more colours at once.
  • By pattern: some designs set a star motif among the colours, while others build a diamond and bead pattern across the whole globe. Look closely at the photos and pick the pattern you love.

Where multicoloured glass works best

Reflections can look different depending on the colour of your walls, and pale walls give the colours a clean canvas, so a multicoloured lamp is a natural fit for a white or cream living room. Over a dining table, a multicoloured pendant or chandelier puts colour on every wall around the meal. In a bedroom, a small or medium lamp keeps the effect gentle. In a café, lounge or boutique hotel, the same glass sets a festive, welcoming mood. For Christmas or a birthday, a multicoloured lamp makes a cheerful gift, and it arrives with its bulb, ready to use.

Multicoloured lamps also sit well beside single-colour ones: an amber table lamp next to a multicoloured pendant picks out one of its shades. Two single-globe lamps save 10% each and three or more save 15% each, in any designs.

Bulb, safety and care

However many globes you choose, each one comes with its own E14 LED bulb, so a 9-globe floor lamp arrives with nine. LED runs at a low heat, which helps protect the mosaic even with every globe of a chandelier lit.

Each multicoloured lamp is CE certified; table and floor lamps come with a plug, and pendants, wall sconces and chandeliers are hardwired by an electrician. To clean, switch off the power, then dust the glass and brass with a soft, dry cloth. Order before 3pm for free next-day UK delivery, with 30-day returns on eligible items.

Questions about multicolour mosaic lamps

Answers from the people who make and ship every lamp.

What colours are in a multicoloured mosaic lamp?

Many combine red, blue, yellow and green hand-cut glass, and some add amber or purple pieces, white beads or mirror tile. When the lamp is lit, it casts reflections in those colours across the walls.

Are there multicoloured chandeliers and floor lamps?

Yes. Most of our chandeliers and floor lamps are multicoloured, and many combine several designs, so each globe shows a different pattern and mix of colours.

Will the colours match the photos?

The design and its mix of colours will match, with small differences in the exact arrangement, because every globe is set by hand. On your walls, the reflections can also look different depending on your room lighting, wall colour and the bulb you use.

Will a multicoloured lamp suit a room with coloured walls?

It will, but expect the effect to change: reflections look different depending on your wall colour and room lighting. Pale walls give the colours the clearest canvas, so on strongly coloured walls a single-colour lamp may sit more calmly.

Can I mix multicoloured and single-colour lamps for the multi-buy saving?

Yes. Any two single-globe table, pendant or wall lamps save 10% each, and three or more save 15% each, in any designs and colours, and the saving appears in your basket without a code.
