Our lamps

Are your Turkish mosaic lamps made from real glass?

Yes. Every Angora Mosaics lamp uses genuine hand-cut coloured glass, not paint or plastic coating. Real glass produces richer colour, longer-lasting brightness, and the authentic kaleidoscope light patterns that Turkish mosaic lamps are known for.

Do your lamps come with a bulb?

Yes. All our Turkish mosaic lamps include a free LED bulb and are fully wired and ready to use straight from the box — no additional purchases needed.

What is the difference between small, medium and large globes?

Globe size affects how much light is cast and how prominent the lamp is as a décor piece. Small globes suit bedside tables and shelves, medium globes work in most living spaces, and large globes make a bold statement as a centrepiece.

By lamp style

classic table lamp

How is a classic mosaic table lamp made?

Skilled artisans in Türkiye hand-cut natural glass into diamond and triangle shapes and arrange the pieces and tiny glass beads on the globe by hand. The globe is cleaned, polished and mounted on a hand-aged antique brass base. Finally it is wired, fitted with its LED bulb and switched on to check before it is boxed.

Will my lamp look exactly like the photos?

It will be the same design, with small differences, because every globe is set by hand and the exact pattern cannot be reproduced. Colours and reflections can also look different depending on your room lighting, wall colour and the bulb you use. Those variations are part of the handmade character, and they make your lamp unique.

Is it real glass?

Yes. The globe is hand-cut natural glass, mirror tile and mosaic beads: never paint, print or plastic, and never coloured-dye or stained glass. Natural glass gives a softer, richer light, so golden ambers and deep blues glow when the lamp is on.

Which bulb does the classic lamp use?

An E14 bulb. We include an E14 LED bulb, so the lamp works straight from the box, and LED keeps the glow efficient and low in heat, which helps protect the mosaic. If you swap the bulb, it may affect the brightness, colour tone and light pattern.

How big is it, and where does it fit?

Small: 10 cm globe, 33 cm tall, 10 cm base. Medium: 12.5 cm globe, 35 cm tall, 12.5 cm base. Large: 15 cm globe, 37 cm tall, 12.5 cm base. The narrow base suits a bedside table, a desk in a study, a shelf or a reading nook, and the large size holds its own in a living room or lounge.

Is it safe, and what plug does it have?

Every classic table lamp is CE certified and comes wired with a plug, ready to use. Plug options are UK Type G, EU Schuko Type F and US Type A. Use a compatible E14 LED bulb, and switch off and unplug the lamp before cleaning it.

How should I clean it?

Switch off and unplug it, then dust the globe and the brass base with a soft, dry cloth. Keep abrasive cleaners and excess moisture away, and do not let water near the electrical parts.

Would it make a good gift?

Yes, and it is an easy one to give: the bulb is included, it plugs straight in and no two are the same. Choose a colour you know they love for a birthday, housewarming, wedding, anniversary, Mother's Day or Christmas. Order before 3pm for free next-day UK delivery.

cluster chandelier

What is the difference between a cluster and a spiral chandelier?

A cluster chandelier, also called a sultan chandelier, groups its globes together on one frame for a full, rounded shape, and some 13-globe pieces arrange them in tiers. A spiral chandelier lets its globes cascade at different heights. Both use 15 cm hand-cut globes and include one E14 LED bulb per globe.

How many globes and bulbs come with it?

A cluster has 5, 7 or 13 globes, each 15 cm across, and every globe has its own E14 LED bulb, all included: 5, 7 or 13 bulbs depending on the piece. The LED bulbs run efficiently and stay low in heat, which helps protect the mosaic.

How big is a cluster chandelier?

The 5-globe piece measures 110 cm overall, with a 30 cm ceiling drop and a 22 cm frame. The 7-globe piece is shorter at 95 cm but wider, on a 30 cm frame with the same 30 cm drop, which helps under a lower ceiling. The 13-globe piece reaches 145 cm overall, with a 45 cm drop and a 40 cm frame.

Does a cluster chandelier need an electrician?

Yes. Every cluster is CE certified and hardwired: it has no plug and is fixed to a ceiling light point by a qualified electrician. Check the overall height against your ceiling before you order; for a second opinion on the height, chat with us, available 24/7.

Where does a cluster chandelier suit?

It makes a focal point over a dining table and gives a warm welcome in an entrance hall. It also suits a living room, sun room, reading nook, café, restaurant or boutique hotel. The 13-globe piece is made for a large room with plenty of height.

Are the globes all the same design?

Usually not. Most cluster chandeliers combine several hand-cut designs, so each globe shows a different pattern and mix of colours. Because every globe is made by hand, small variations from the photos are normal and make your piece unique.

How do I dust a cluster of globes?

Switch off the power to the chandelier, then work round the cluster one globe at a time. Dust each globe and the brass frame with a soft, dry cloth, steadying the globe as you go. Avoid abrasive cleaners and excess moisture, and keep water away from every socket.

Is a cluster chandelier a good gift?

For a wedding, a milestone anniversary or a housewarming, it becomes the centre of the room it hangs in. It arrives with every bulb it needs, and no other chandelier will carry the same arrangement of hand-cut globes.

floor lamp

What makes a Turkish mosaic floor lamp special?

Every globe is made by hand in Türkiye from natural glass, mirror tile and mosaic beads, set piece by piece and polished. Most floor lamps combine several designs, so each globe glows differently, and the arrangement cannot be repeated exactly: your lamp is one of a kind.

How tall are the floor lamps?

With 3 globes the lamp is 105 cm tall on a 21 cm base, and with 5 it is 127 cm on a 27 cm base. The 7-globe lamp stands 150 cm and the 9-globe 195 cm, both on a 31 cm base. Every globe is 15 cm across.

Does a floor lamp plug in, and is it CE certified?

Yes. Each floor lamp comes wired with a plug, with UK Type G, EU Schuko Type F and US Type A plug options, and it is CE certified. Place it within reach of a socket, plug it in and switch it on.

How many bulbs does it take?

One E14 bulb per globe, all included: 3, 5, 7 or 9 LED bulbs depending on the lamp. The included bulbs are warm-coloured, and LED keeps the light efficient and low in heat, which helps protect the mosaic.

Which size suits my room?

The 3-globe lamp, at 105 cm, sits comfortably beside a sofa or in a reading nook. The 5-globe and 7-globe lamps make a focal point in a living room or lounge. The 9-globe lamp stands 195 cm tall, so check your ceiling height and give it a corner with room around it.

Are the globes real glass?

Yes: natural hand-cut glass, never coloured-dye or stained glass, and never paint or plastic. That gives the soft, rich colour you see when the lamp is lit, with patterns thrown across the walls around it.

How do I clean a mosaic floor lamp?

Switch off and unplug the lamp. Dust each globe and the brass stand with a soft, dry cloth, working from the top globe down and steadying each one with your other hand. Avoid abrasive cleaners and excess moisture, and never immerse electrical parts in water.

Is a floor lamp a good gift?

For a housewarming, a wedding, an anniversary or a big birthday, it is a present that changes how a room feels in the evening. It arrives with every bulb it needs, and its mix of handmade globes is unique to that lamp.

pendant lamp

What makes each mosaic pendant lamp unique?

It is made by hand in Türkiye from start to finish. The natural glass is hand-cut into small shapes and set piece by piece with tiny glass beads, so the exact pattern can never be repeated. Small differences in colour and pattern from the photos are part of its handmade character.

Is the glass natural or coloured with dye?

Natural. We never use coloured-dye or stained glass, and never paint or plastic. The globe combines hand-cut glass, mirror tile and mosaic beads, which is why the light looks soft and rich as it shines through.

What bulb does the pendant take?

An E14 bulb. An E14 LED bulb is included, so the pendant is ready to light once it is fitted. LED keeps the glow efficient and low in heat, which helps protect the mosaic. The included bulb is warm-coloured; a different bulb may affect the brightness and the pattern on your walls.

Is a mosaic pendant lamp CE certified, and does it need an electrician?

Yes to both. Every pendant is CE certified and hardwired: it has no plug and is fixed to a ceiling light point, so have it fitted by a qualified electrician. The globe hangs below a 10 cm hand-aged antique brass canopy. For questions about your ceiling, chat with us; we are available 24/7.

What sizes is a pendant made in?

Three globe sizes, all below a 10 cm canopy: small, with a 10 cm globe and 55 cm high; medium, with a 12.5 cm globe and 57 cm high; and large, with a 15 cm globe and 59 cm high. Sizes come in and out of stock, and the size options on each product page show which you can order now.

Where should I hang a mosaic pendant?

Over a dining table, in a hallway or foyer, beside a reading chair or in a bedroom, where the globe can throw its pattern across the walls. Two or three pendants in a row work well over a long dining table or a kitchen counter.

How do I clean a hanging mosaic lamp?

Switch off the power first. Hold the globe steady with one hand and dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, then wipe the brass canopy the same way. Avoid abrasive cleaners and excess moisture, and keep water away from the electrical parts.

Does a pendant lamp make a good gift?

It does, especially for a new home. It arrives with its bulb, the globe is one of a kind, and it suits a housewarming, wedding, anniversary or birthday. If you are unsure of the room, a medium globe is the most adaptable size.

spiral chandelier

What is a spiral mosaic chandelier?

It is a chandelier whose globes hang in a cascade from a hand-aged antique brass frame instead of at one level. Every globe is a 15 cm hand-cut mosaic made in Türkiye, and most pieces mix several designs, so each globe throws a different pattern.

How many bulbs does it need, and are they included?

One E14 bulb per globe, and every bulb is included: 4 with the 4-globe chandelier, 5 with the 5-globe, 7 with the 7-globe and 10 with the 10-globe. They are LED, for an efficient, low-heat glow that helps protect the mosaic.

How big are the spiral chandeliers?

The 4-globe and 5-globe pieces are both 110 cm in overall height, with ceiling drops of 25 cm and 30 cm and frames of 20 cm and 25 cm. The 7-globe piece measures 140 cm overall on a 30 cm frame with a 30 cm drop, and the 10-globe 145 cm on a 36 cm frame with a 40 cm drop. Every globe is 15 cm across.

What should I check before ordering a spiral chandelier?

Check the overall height against your ceiling, and plan for a qualified electrician: every spiral chandelier is hardwired to a ceiling light point and has no plug. Each one is CE certified. If you would like help choosing, chat with us; we are available 24/7.

Where does a spiral chandelier look best?

Over a dining table, in an entrance hall or above a staircase, where the cascade can be seen from below and from the side. It also brings warmth to a living room, sun room, restaurant or hotel lobby. In a tall space the 140 cm and 145 cm pieces fill the height, and in a smaller room the 110 cm pieces sit more comfortably; stock varies by size, so check the size options on the product page.

Is the glass natural?

Yes. Each globe is hand-cut natural glass with mirror tile and mosaic beads, never coloured-dye or stained glass and never paint or plastic. Natural glass gives the softer, richer light that makes the colours glow when the chandelier is on.

How do I clean a mosaic chandelier?

Switch off the power first. Dust each globe and the brass frame with a soft, dry cloth, steadying the globe with your other hand. Avoid abrasive cleaners and excess moisture, and never let water reach the sockets or wiring.

Is it a good wedding or housewarming gift?

It is a generous one, and a gift people live with every day. It arrives with all its bulbs, and its mix of hand-cut globes cannot be repeated exactly, so the couple or new homeowner gets a piece nobody else has.

It suits a housewarming, birthday, wedding, anniversary, Mother's Day or Christmas, and UK orders placed before 3pm get free next-day delivery.

Which bulb does a wall sconce use?
