This handmade Turkish mosaic wall sconce features a prominent star motif crafted from deep blue, amber, and clear natural glass tiles. When lit, it casts a warm, inviting glow with intricate geometric reflections in shades of gold, amber, and blue.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- First, skilled artisans hand-cut natural glass into precise diamond and square shapes, selecting deep blues, warm ambers, and clear pieces for the design.
- Next, these individual glass pieces and tiny glass beads are carefully arranged and set onto the glass globe using traditional techniques.
- The globe is then meticulously cleaned and polished to reveal the rich saturation and natural brilliance of the blue and amber glass.
- Finally, the unique mosaic globe is mounted onto a hand-aged antique brass wall plate, complete with an E14 socket and LED bulb.
