This desk-top table lamp features a striking star motif crafted from hand-cut natural glass. When unlit, the mosaic displays a sophisticated palette of deep brown, black, and amber tiles arranged in a geometric star pattern against a white bead background. Once illuminated, the amber and brown glass comes alive, casting a warm, inviting glow that highlights the intricate star design and creates beautiful reflections on surrounding surfaces.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- First, skilled craftspeople carefully hand-cut natural glass into precise diamond and triangular shapes, selecting rich amber, deep brown, and black tones to form the intricate star design.
- Each piece of glass and tiny white bead is then individually placed by hand onto the globe, building the complex geometric pattern piece by piece in a process that requires immense patience and skill.
- The completed mosaic globe is carefully polished to enhance the natural clarity of the glass, ensuring the deep amber and brown hues radiate brilliantly when illuminated.
- Finally, the stunning mosaic globe is united with our hand-aged antique brass base and fitted with an E14 socket, complete with an included LED bulb for immediate enjoyment.
