This handmade Turkish mosaic wall sconce features a striking interlocking diamond pattern crafted from deep cobalt, vibrant cyan, and reflective clear natural glass. When illuminated, the single globe casts a captivating web of sapphire and warm white reflections across the surrounding walls, beautifully framed by its hand-aged antique brass backplate.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- Master artisans carefully hand-cut large sheets of quality natural glass into precise geometric tiles, selecting vibrant shades of cobalt, cyan, and clear reflective glass.
- Each individual glass piece is painstakingly set by hand onto the blown glass globe, forming an intricate interlocking diamond pattern before being secured with traditional plaster.
- The globe undergoes a gentle polishing process to reveal the true vibrancy and deep saturation of the blue jewel tones, ensuring maximum light refraction.
- Finally, the finished mosaic globe is mounted to a beautifully detailed, hand-aged antique brass wall plate and fitted with an E14 socket, complete with an LED bulb.
