This exquisite wall sconce features a mosaic globe crafted from hand-cut natural glass, displaying a striking pattern of deep cobalt blue star motifs set against a background of delicate light blue and white beads. When illuminated, the light blue beads cast a soft, ethereal turquoise glow, while the dark blue stars create a captivating, high-contrast pattern that scatters intricate shadows across the wall.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- First, skilled artisans hand-cut natural, undyed glass into precise geometric shapes, selecting deep cobalt blue tiles for the star motifs and delicate light blue beads for the background.
- Each piece is then individually set onto the glass globe using traditional techniques, creating the intricate star pattern before a specialized white grout is applied to secure the mosaic.
- The globe is carefully polished to reveal the brilliant saturation of the natural blue glass, ensuring maximum light transmission and clarity when illuminated.
- Finally, the glass shade is mounted to a hand-aged antique brass wall bracket, wired to CE safety standards, and fitted with an E14 LED bulb for immediate use.
