Care
Switch off the power to the sconce before cleaning. Dust the globe and the brass wall plate with a soft, dry cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners and excess moisture.

About this lamp
Cette applique murale en mosaïque faite à la main est dotée d'un support en laiton antique vieilli à la main, orné de volutes, retenant un seul globe décoratif. Éteint, le globe présente un fond blanc éclatant avec un motif en losanges saisissant de carreaux rouges, bleus, verts et foncés ; une fois allumé, la base se transforme en un ambre chaud et radiant, donnant vie au verre aux couleurs de bijoux et projetant des reflets colorés.
Chacune de nos lampes est fabriquée à la main en Turquie du début à la fin — il n'y en a pas deux identiques. Le motif exact de la mosaïque sur la photo ne peut être reproduit, la lampe que vous recevez est donc la plus unique au monde. Nous n'utilisons que du verre naturel de qualité — jamais de verre teinté — pour une lumière plus douce et plus riche. Certifié CE et sûr.
Fabrication
- Tout d'abord, des artisans maîtres découpent à la main du verre naturel de qualité en formes précises, sélectionnant des tons vifs de rouge, de bleu, de vert et d'ambre chaud pour former l'intricate motif en losanges.
- Ensuite, chaque pièce de verre est soigneusement placée à la main sur le globe, créant un arrangement véritablement unique qui garantit qu'aucune lampe n'est jamais exactement identique.
- Le globe est ensuite méticuleusement jointoyé et poli, fixant la riche saturation des couleurs naturelles du verre aux tons de bijoux afin qu'il brille magnifiquement, qu'il soit allumé ou éteint.
- Enfin, le globe en mosaïque fini est monté sur la fixation en laiton antique vieilli à la main avec des volutes, complet avec une douille certifiée CE et une ampoule LED incluse pour une utilisation immédiate.

What makes a mosaic wall sconce special?
Every sconce is handmade in Türkiye. Artisans hand-cut natural glass, set each piece and bead on the globe by hand, grout the pattern and polish it before fitting it to a hand-aged antique brass wall plate. The pattern in the photos cannot be repeated exactly, so yours is unique.
Is the glass real?
Yes. The globe is natural hand-cut glass with mirror tile and mosaic beads: never paint, print or plastic, and never coloured-dye or stained glass. That is what gives the light its soft, rich colour on the wall.
Which bulb does a wall sconce use?
An E14 bulb, and we include an E14 LED bulb, so the sconce is ready to light once it is fitted. LED gives an efficient, low-heat glow that helps protect the mosaic. A different bulb may affect the brightness, colour tone and pattern.
Is the wall sconce CE certified, and does it need an electrician?
Yes to both. Every sconce is CE certified and hardwired: it has no plug and is fixed to a wall light point, so have it fitted by a qualified electrician. The globe sits on a 28 × 13 cm hand-aged antique brass wall plate. For questions about your wall, chat with us, available 24/7.
What size is a mosaic wall sconce?
The small sconce has a 10 cm globe, stands 30 cm tall and projects 24 cm from the wall. The medium has a 12.5 cm globe, stands 33 cm tall and also projects 24 cm, and the large has a 15 cm globe, stands 35 cm tall and projects 25 cm. All three sit on the same 28 × 13 cm wall plate.
Where do mosaic wall lights work best?
In hallways, bedrooms, living rooms, studies and reading nooks: anywhere you want light at wall height without giving up floor or table space. A pair either side of a bed or a mirror looks balanced, and in a hallway the patterns run along the wall as you walk through.
How should I look after a wall sconce?
Switch off the power to the sconce, then dust the globe and the wall plate gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and excess moisture, and never let water reach the electrical parts.
