A stunning Turkish mosaic wall sconce featuring a prominent star motif. Unlit, the globe displays rich chocolate brown, warm amber, and creamy white glass tesserae arranged in geometric star patterns against a lighter background. When lit, it casts a brilliant, cozy amber glow, projecting intricate starburst shadows onto surrounding surfaces.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- Master artisans carefully hand-cut natural glass into precise diamond and triangular shapes, selecting rich amber, deep brown, and creamy white tones to form the central star design.
- Each glass piece and tiny bead is meticulously set into place by hand on the globe, following traditional geometric patterns before being secured with a specialized plaster.
- The globe is carefully cleaned and polished to reveal the true vibrancy of the natural glass, ensuring the amber and brown hues will radiate warmly when illuminated.
- Finally, the completed mosaic globe is mounted to a beautifully detailed, hand-aged antique brass wall bracket and fitted with an E14 socket, ready to glow.
