This stunning Turkish mosaic table lamp features a prominent star motif crafted from brilliant blue and clear glass tiles. When lit, it casts a mesmerizing pattern of cool blues and warm, neutral tones across the surrounding space.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- First, skilled artisans hand-cut sheets of quality natural glass into precise diamond and triangle shapes, focusing on the vibrant azure and sky blue tones seen in the star motif.
- Next, these individual glass pieces and delicate white beads are carefully arranged and set onto a blown glass globe using traditional plastering techniques to form the intricate star pattern.
- The globe is then meticulously cleaned and polished, ensuring the clear and blue glass pieces capture and refract the light perfectly for maximum color saturation.
- Finally, the completed mosaic globe is securely mounted onto the hand-aged antique brass base, fitted with an E14 socket, and prepared with the included LED bulb.
