This stunning swan-neck table lamp features a hand-cut glass globe displaying a continuous wave or diamond chain motif. Unlit, the mosaic tiles show a striking contrast of deep cobalt blue and silver-mirrored glass against a lighter blue-beaded background. When illuminated, the lamp transforms dramatically: the silver and lighter sections glow with a vibrant turquoise, emerald green, and warm golden-yellow, while the deep blue retains its rich, jewel-like intensity, casting a spectacular, multi-colored geometric light pattern onto surrounding surfaces.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- First, artisans hand-cut natural glass sheets into precise diamond and triangle shapes, focusing on deep cobalt blues and reflective silver-mirror pieces to form the core design.
- These individual glass pieces are then meticulously arranged and adhered to a clear glass globe, surrounded by hundreds of tiny blue glass beads to complete the intricate wave motif.
- The globe is then carefully grouted and polished, ensuring the vibrant turquoise, green, and golden-yellow hues will shine brilliantly when the lamp is lit.
- Finally, the completed mosaic globe is suspended from a hand-aged antique brass swan-neck stand, wired for safety, and fitted with an E14 LED bulb, ready to illuminate your space.
