This handmade Turkish ceiling pendant features a squat globe adorned with a striking central star motif in amber and clear glass, surrounded by rich bands of ruby red and vibrant green glass beads. When lit, it transforms into a fiery orb, casting a warm, multicolored glow that highlights the intricate geometric tile work and natural glass textures.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- First, skilled artisans hand-cut natural, quality glass into precise diamond and square shapes, selecting vibrant ruby red, emerald green, and warm amber tones to form the foundation of this intricate piece.
- Next, each individual glass piece is carefully placed by hand onto the blown glass globe, building the central star motif and surrounding bead bands piece by piece without the use of mass-production machinery.
- The globe is then meticulously grouted and polished to reveal the deep saturation of the multicolored natural glass, ensuring the brilliant reds and greens will shine vividly for years to come.
- Finally, the completed mosaic globe is married with hand-aged antique brass components, fully wired, CE certified, and paired with an energy-efficient LED bulb, ready to illuminate your home safely.
