This exquisite Turkish mosaic wall sconce features a vibrant, multi-colored globe set against an ornate, hand-aged antique brass backplate. When illuminated, it casts a breathtaking array of rich reds, vivid yellows, deep blues, and greens, creating a captivating starburst pattern on surrounding walls.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- First, master artisans hand-cut natural, quality mosaic glass into precise diamond and square shapes, selecting vibrant reds, yellows, blues, and greens for this specific design.
- Next, the individual glass pieces and colorful glass beads are meticulously arranged one by one onto the glass globe, forming the intricate star and circular patterns.
- The globe is then carefully grouted and polished to secure the mosaic and enhance the brilliant saturation of the multi-colored jewel tones.
- Finally, the finished globe is mounted onto the hand-aged antique brass wall plate, inspected for quality, and fitted with an E14 socket. An LED bulb is included for immediate use.
