This handmade Turkish mosaic wall sconce features a luminous white and clear glass globe set against an ornate, hand-aged antique brass wall plate. When lit, the clear mirror-like tiles and white beadwork cast a brilliant, geometric star pattern across the surrounding walls, creating a crisp and elegant atmosphere.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- First, skilled artisans hand-cut individual pieces of clear mirrored and natural white glass, shaping the precise diamond and geometric forms needed for the central star motif.
- Next, these glass pieces are meticulously arranged and set onto the globe, surrounded by thousands of tiny white glass beads to complete the intricate pattern.
- The globe is then carefully grouted and polished by hand, ensuring the clear mirrored tiles catch the light perfectly and the white beadwork remains crisp and bright.
- Finally, the finished mosaic globe is securely mounted to the hand-aged antique brass wall plate, and fitted with an E14 socket. An LED bulb is included so it is ready to illuminate your space.
