This stunning swan-neck table lamp features a classic Turkish mosaic globe suspended from an elegantly curved, hand-aged antique brass stand. When unlit, the globe displays a sophisticated pattern of dark brown and amber diamond motifs accented by mirror-like glass pieces against a background of warm beige and gold beads. Once illuminated, it radiates a rich, warm amber glow, casting intricate geometric shadows and transforming the space with a cozy, inviting atmosphere.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- First, skilled artisans hand-cut quality natural mosaic glass into precise geometric shapes, forming the rich dark brown, warm amber, and reflective mirrored tiles seen in this unique globe.
- Next, these individual glass pieces are meticulously arranged by hand onto a blown glass sphere, creating the intricate diamond and zigzag motif, before thousands of tiny golden-beige glass beads are carefully applied to fill the spaces.
- The globe is then smoothly finished and polished, ensuring the natural glass retains its vibrant, saturated amber and brown tones without the use of artificial dyes or stains.
- Finally, the completed mosaic globe is securely fitted to its elegant, hand-aged antique brass swan-neck stand, wired safely to CE standards, and paired with an E14 LED bulb for immediate enjoyment.
