This swan-neck table lamp features a vibrant mosaic globe suspended from an elegantly curved antique brass base. When lit, it projects a stunning array of warm amber, fiery orange, deep red, and cool blue hues in a classic star pattern across the surrounding surfaces.
Every one of our lamps is handmade in Turkey from start to finish — no two are alike. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. We use only quality natural glass — never coloured-dye glass — for a softer, richer light. CE certified and safe.
How it is made
- First, skilled artisans hand-cut natural glass into precise diamond and triangular shapes, selecting pieces in vibrant amber, fiery orange, deep red, crisp blue, and rich green.
- These individual glass pieces are then meticulously applied one by one onto a blown glass globe, creating the intricate six-pointed star design. A specially formulated grout is applied to secure the mosaic and fill the spaces between the tiles.
- Once the grout has fully cured, the globe is carefully polished by hand. This process removes any excess material and enhances the natural brilliance and saturation of the jewel-toned glass, ensuring a radiant glow.
- Finally, the completed mosaic globe is securely mounted onto the hand-aged antique brass swan-neck base. The lamp is then wired and fitted with an E14 socket, ready to be illuminated by the included LED bulb.
